It Was Your Heart That Saved You

Happy Valentine's Day!

Be sure to check out the Google homepage today. It's amazing how many romantic (and not so romantic) pairings they have crammed into their little widget device. Very clever.

I haven't been writing at all, so no original fluff from me. However, I can share a cute video of clips from one of my favorite fluffy movies, Disney's Tangled. Flynn Rider, aka Eugene, is such a fun hero - perfect for Rapunzel, who is sooo serious and fun-deprived. The fact that they don't fall in love instantly, but really get to know each other as they work toward separate goals is very satisfying to watch. These are clips from the funny moments, not the romantic ones, but you can get a sense of what this particular hero is like.

Devin, Rory, and I went to see Tangled by accident. We were too late for what w wanted to see. We all loved it. Especially the horse.
I saw it by accident as well and without much enthusiasm. I had high hopes for The Princess and the Frog, and while I enjoyed it, the romance didn't work for me. Her prince just wasn't all that princely, imo. Tangled hooked me in from the beginning with the very real angst of the parents who had lost their child and then just went on from there. LOL - Maximus was such a great character who never spoke a word. That some talented animation right there.
Tangled is such a good movie. So many fun moments--and laughs. And Eugene is perfect. Have you seen 'Tangled Ever After'? It's the short where they get married. The horse and the lizard are so, so funny.

If you haven't seen it, you should. Go here:

I knew you would have seen Tangled based on the demographics in your house. :)

I did see Tangled Ever After. Loved the outfit proud Maximus has on at the end of skit. :)
I can't help but think Flynn was kind of based on Nathan Fillion. I know he's played by Zachary Levi but this thought won't go away! I love their chemistry, though
I don't know who Nathan Fillion is, but Flynn does seem to be based on a "type." Like Joey from Friends or the John Stamos character on Full House. Even Eugene acknowledges that Flynn is based on someone else. :)
